[The first thing you want to do is screen your client. You can do this in person before their session or virtually. Either way, completion of a detailed intake form should always be a part of the Yoni Steaming preparation process.
I have provided you with a sample intake form that you can use in your own practice. Whether you do in-person consultations prior to each session or you have your client fill out a form before they arrive, these questions should be covered. You should also know how to interpret the answers and know when you need to ask further questions. Sometimes, further educating your client can get you and them clarity and lead you in the right direction.
Through the pre-screening process, you will need to determine first, if this person is a candidate for Steaming? You are evaluating the clients’ condition to see if the Steam or the Herbs could potentially be harmful to the candidate. Reasons why someone should not Steam would be, what we would call, Contraindications, which we will go into much more detail in the next Module. For this lesson, the thing to note is how important a good Intake Form is to properly recognizing when your client should reschedule or not Steam at all.
